Il beauty dish non è solo una sorgente di luce incisiva ma crea anche un bel riflesso negli occhi del soggetto, inoltre crea ombre più profonde del classico softbox. Al contrario il softbox ottagonale fornisce una luce più morbida, più indulgente e crea ombre più delicate. La sua luce è più avvolgente ed allo stesso tempo nelle zone d`ombra è possibile ottenere un ottimo dettaglio. Ideale come fonte luminosa principale o di riempimento.

Deflettore opzionale:

Il deflettore opzionale (acquistabile a parte) è progettato per essere montato con  grande facilità. Va inserito nel foro centrale per l`ombrello e avvitato.
La superficie goffrata del deflettore centrale crea una riflessione omogenea della luce che elimina il potenziale hot spot centrale. Il diametro del deflettore è 15cm.
